It's good to have "cousins".
Mac, Norah and Josie technically are second cousins, but you'd never know it based on the way they love each other! We don't even see them that often, but when we get together, they have zero adjustment time - it's just right back to zooming around the house and playing!Norah (4), McKinley (3), Josephine (2) - darn - I should have had them sit and hold Addie so she could be in the picture! They stood very obediently for this pic, then...
this happened! One of Mac's favorite things to do - Roll around and be crazy!
I thought Norah was so amazing for how well she could do it only having it for one week.
Then, Mac got on and with only a little coaching from Care, he was navigating screens, drawing pictures, putting stamps on the page and (get this!) "saving" his work in a folder!
Unbelievable.
The next generation really is hard wired slightly differently.
The usual bath picture. They barely fit in ther together anymore!
They each took turns with her and were so careful to keep her face above the water.
The morning we were to leave for Sammamish, Mac woke up (in our bed), crawled over Curt without a word, went downstairs, turned on all the lights, then came back upstairs to my side of the bed and announced "I'm waiting to go to Norah and Josephine's house!" We cracked up.
A couple of mornings later, he got out of bed and again went downstairs without a word. We heard him turning on the lights, but he didn't come back up. So Curt went to investigate. Mac was sitting by his bookcase looking through his new cookbooks and told Curt "I need to find a recipe to make today." Atta boy!
